GayRites tracks information about the visits to our Web site. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our site and the daily requests we receive for particular files on our site. The statistics contain no personal information and cannot be used to gather that kind of information. Since we want to protect our visitors from the rantings and ravings of bigots, "flamers," right-wingers and other people who would deny us our rights, we also log the IP addresses of all of our visitors so that we can report them to the proper authorities.

Optional Registration

You may voluntarily register for our forums. If you choose to do so, we will add your email address to our mailing list so that we can inform you of changes or special offers that our partners allow us to offer to members.

We have placed photos and illustrations on GayRites that we believe are in the public domain and that we are not violating anyone’s copyright by doing so. We do not assert or imply that people pictured or depicted in any of these photographs or illustrations are gay, straight, lesbian or have any other sexual orientation. If you believe that we are using a photo or illustration on this site that we do not have the right to use, please notify us immediately and we will remove it immediately. We value other people’s intellectual property and our own and we will do everything we can to make sure our own and others’ intellectual property is respected and protected.
